Clive van den Berg at the Outburst Queer Arts Festival in Belfast

Clive van den Berg’s video work Memorials Without Facts: Men Loving is included on Videobrasil’s specially curated project, Forms of resistance | Videobrasil Historical Collection at Outburst Festival, hosted by the Golden Thread Gallery as part of the Outburst Queer Arts Festival in Belfast (10 – 19 November). The Outburst Queer Arts Festival promotes the exhibition of local and international queer artwork whilst supporting the development of queer arts internationally. In the exhibition, curated by Videobrasil’s Gabriel Bogossian, documentaries and single channel videos bring the voice of a community that, although not formally articulated, share a history marked by violence, but also by original, inexhaustible forms of resistance.
