William Kentridge’s ‘That which we do not remember’ at Art Gallery of South Australia

That which we do not remember, a William Kentridge exhibition curated by the artist himself is on view at the Art Gallery of South Australia (6 July – 8 September). The exhibition traces the arc of Kentridge’s thirty-year career, offering connections between his drawing, collage, stop-motion animation, performance, theatre, tapestry and sculpture. Installed as a series of intimate encounters, the exhibition explores memory, its excavation and erasure. In addition, the exhibition will be accompanied by a publication which includes a conversation between Kentridge and the writer and playwright Jane Taylor.
