Gabrielle Goliath's 'Elegy' on view at the Iziko Slave Lodge in Cape Town

Elegy by Gabrielle Goliath forms part of a group exhibition, titled Under Cover of Darkness, hosted by the Iziko Slave Lodge in Cape Town (until 21 October). The exhibition aims to highlight the experience of colonial subjects through a specific focus on the lives of three women – ‘Susanna of Bengal’, Krotoa and an as yet unidentified other  – by intervening in the Slave Lodge, a symbolically laden site.
