Grada Kilomba and Kiluanji Kia Henda on Biennale de Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo

The sixth edition of the Lubumbashi Biennial, which runs until 24 November, includes work by Grada Kilomba and Kiluanji Kia Henda. This year’s edition, entitled Future Genealogies, stories from Ecuador, explores possibilities for rethinking established geographic boundaries. Kilomba is showing Illusions Vol. I, Narcissus and Echo and Kia Henda will be taking part in the film program, showing his short film “Havemos de Voltar”, that tells the story of an embalmed antelope.
